Recovery 4.0: Aging Labour Markets and Digitization of the Economy in the Time of Covid 19
At first, the possible penetration of digital technologies in the various economic sectors will be described using mainly information from the Inapp-Istat survey on occupations –Survey on Italian Occupations (Indagine Campionaria sulle Professioni), merged with the Labour force survey. These data will allow to describe the level of routinization of the work content, i.e. of the so-called tasks, intended as a measure of the possibility of digital automation of the latter, in view of an effective replacement of human beings by machines.
Secondly, the consequences of this situation on the employability of both younger and older workers will be discussed. The discussion will also examine the strategy depicted by the Italian recovery plan, trying to identify possible anticipatory signals of displacement of specific social groups and/or professional categories and risks of skills and labour shortages.
The paper will conclude suggesting possible correctives of public measures envisaged, with special reference to interventions aimed at strengthening human capital characteristics, by means of the modernization of the curricula of the education and VET systems and the improvement of continuous training of workers.

Technology Innovation and the Aging Workforce in the Time of Covid
In this paper we will present the results of an Inapp qualitative study carried out in the manufacturing and services sector, which explores the relationship between the employability of workers over 50 and technological innovation. A focus will be dedicated to health and social services which, in the face of the increasing average age of the employees, must respond to a greater request for care and assistance from users who have also become older.

Aging, Frailty, and Innovation: Exploring the Function of New Technologies in the Development of the Care Professions in the Time of Covid-19
The paper will try to propose a reflection on what kind of issues the healthcare professions are dealing with in terms of intervention paradigms, and what is the function prefigured for the adoption of innovation technologies both for the diagnostic process and in order to adapt and integrate the knowledge of the patient "clinical story" in the care process. I will report some information about this process exploring the demand for skills and organizational changes coming from  different stakeholders and summarized from interviews.
