Ieva Stončikaitė holds a PhD (2017) in cultural and literary gerontology (U of Lleida, Spain). She has been a pre-doctoral researcher at U of Fribourg (Switzerland, 2015-16) and TCAS (Trent U, Canada, 2016). Her current research interests include cultural gerontology, 'silver' leisure tourism, and arts-based research on ageing. Currently, she is a co-editor of a Special Issue "Ageing as a Unique Experience: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Ageing and Later Life from Social and Humanities Perspectives" (with Dr. Lucie Vidovićová).
